The latest from Fuck Ramone and the Repressed Urges is, in the artist's humble opinion, worthier than its predecessor. This noisecore was recorded with so much gain that the sounds occasionally seem to veer into harsh noise. Be sure to set aside time for the title track if you're fond of "Sister Ray." Coming from the gentleman who gave you the divine madness of Sluggisha Tapes, this is an album of, as he puts it, "harsh noise pieces that will make your brain crumble". I can't say that I disagree with his assessment. This surprisingly contemplative album has all of the quiet, triumphant beauty of crushing your most hated enemy's thumbs with a thumbscrew.
