After a long hiatus, Electric Hedonist is back in business with a very special release: the first full-length album by the Caffeine Shakes! This recording infuses the group's earlier blueprint of stark arrangement and collective anarchy with a new brutality, and yes, "Fuck" is the title of every track.

 

One thing that won't be showing up on future releases by the Caffeine Shakes is the tambourine. In the middle of recording this album, it broke beyond repair. Therefore, the second set of trax features the band's new percussive sound: hitting the floor with sticks!

The latest from Fuck Ramone and the Repressed Urges is, in the artist's humble opinion, worthier than its predecessor. This noisecore was recorded with so much gain that the sounds occasionally seem to veer into harsh noise. Be sure to set aside time for the title track if you're fond of "Sister Ray." Have fun with this one, dearest friends!

Coming from the gentleman who gave you the divine madness of Sluggisha Tapes, this is an album of, as he puts it, "harsh noise pieces that will make your brain crumble". I can't say that I disagree with his assessment. This surprisingly contemplative album has all of the quiet, triumphant beauty of crushing your most hated enemy's thumbs with a thumbscrew.

This album by new producer Pixel Shit represents a definitive advance in the genre of 8-bit noisecore (or as your humble servant Fuck Ramone unsuccessfully attempted to persuade Pixel Shit to call it, "8-shit music"). This is truly fascinating to listen to; as Pixel Shit puts it, "It sounds like Koji Kondo covering early Anal Cunt."

This is a short Doctor Date Rape album recorded with a box of tissues as the main instrument. Contrary to the lachrymose sound such a sonic source might suggest, the noise contained herein is primarily of the explosive kind, with a few slower passages to vary the mood (or what passes for a "mood" with this album).
